For 2012 we decided to start documenting our projects online as a way to increase the discussion of all things patina, restoration, and preservation.
In this blog we also hope to cover some examples of small, personal, or quirky projects, that might not otherwise become part of the public domain.
From time to time we will document and discuss extra-company patination projects that really rose to the standard set by the original artworks preserved or restored. We will also discuss some projects that, in our opinion, went wrong.
This final aspect of our blog's intended discussion will not be done in a disparaging way, but rather in a constructive manner, so as to further increase the general knowledge and capability for all those charged with the task of preserving or restoring our cultural and historical heritage.
